STILLS FROM VIDEO

We can produce still photos from your video (as 720x576 JPEGS) which we'll put onto a CD. You can have these printed at a printshop (or print them yourself), look at them using your PC or DVD player (most DVD players will do this) or email them to friends and family . This normally requires you to come to The Old Granary, home of Bird-e, to select the frames you would like.

If the items in our Standard Service don't include any special requirements that you may have, it's a simple matter to discuss these at our preliminary meeting, when we'll look at the possibilities together. Alternatively, email us with any queries. Below are a few of the extra services that we normally offer.

EXTRA COPIES

We'll provide you with as many extra copies of your Video, on DVD and/or VHS, as you wish. These are duplicated from the original digital masters to ensure the best possible quality. You can order them within a month of your receiving the complimentary copy .

MPEG VIDEO

We'll convert the whole or parts of your finished movie to mpeg1 or mpeg4 format . These are compressed files, much smaller than the mpeg2 format used for DVD. The image quality isn't as sharp as a DVD, but their small size means they will fit on a CD and can be sent by email. (Small is a relative term, here. Each minute uses between 2 and10 Megabytes, so it's best to select highlights and have a broadband connection to send and receive them).

IMAGES FROM YOUR OWN ARCHIVE

We'll embed your own photos, video, film, tape recordings etc. into your video. These can make an interesting and entertaining opening sequence or be included in later sequencies of the movie. There's not normally a charge for this, except in the case of digitising film footage.

You'll find prices for these services on the What Can I Have? page
